These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website, landing pages, and services provided by James Reed Construction & Lawn Service LLC, doing business as James Reed Concrete ("James Reed Concrete," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Macclenny, Florida. By accessing our website, submitting an estimate request, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

About Us

James Reed Concrete is a residential concrete contractor serving Jacksonville, Gainesville, Lake City, St. Augustine, Macclenny, and the surrounding North Florida area. James Reed has been pouring concrete across North Florida since 1982, and today runs the family crew with his two sons.

Services

We provide residential concrete services, including but not limited to driveways, sidewalks, house slabs, pool decks, patios, stamped concrete, concrete repair and resurfacing, and concrete removal. All services are subject to availability, crew scheduling, site conditions, and geographic reach.

Any quote or estimate we provide is based on the project information you share with us at the time of the request. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual job conditions differ materially from what was described, such as significantly different square footage, additional prep or demolition work, restricted site access, or unforeseen ground conditions. Any adjustments will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before work begins.

Estimate Requests

Submitting an estimate request through our website, by phone, or by text does not create a binding contract. A service agreement is formed only once both parties have confirmed the scope of work, pricing, schedule, and any other material terms, whether verbally or in writing.

Estimates are typically valid for thirty (30) days from the date they are provided unless otherwise noted. Material and fuel prices fluctuate, and we reserve the right to requote a project if an estimate expires or if market conditions change significantly.

SMS Program and Text Messaging

By providing your phone number on our website and affirmatively checking the text message consent boxes on our estimate request form, you agree to the following terms governing our SMS program, operated by JAMES REED CONSTRUCTION & LAWN SERVICE LLC.

Program Description and Message Types

JAMES REED CONSTRUCTION & LAWN SERVICE LLC (doing business as James Reed Concrete) operates an SMS program to communicate with homeowners and prospective customers about concrete services. Depending on which consent boxes you check, the messages you may receive include:

• Transactional messages: estimate confirmations, appointment reminders, project scheduling updates, pour date confirmations, crew arrival notifications, and direct follow-up communication about your specific project.
• Marketing messages: occasional promotional offers, seasonal specials, and news about our services in North Florida.

You may consent to one, both, or neither type of message. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of purchase or of receiving an estimate.

Message Frequency and Fees

Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your inquiry and your project status. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. JAMES REED CONSTRUCTION & LAWN SERVICE LLC does not charge any additional fees for text messages sent through this program; however, your wireless carrier's standard messaging rates still apply.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of our SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. Upon receiving your STOP message, we will send a single confirmation message and will no longer send you text messages unless you opt back in. You may opt back in at any time by contacting us directly at (904) 228-1542 or by submitting a new form on our website.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Supported mobile carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, and Virgin Mobile, among others. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed.

Age Restriction

Our services and SMS program are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information or SMS consent from individuals under 18.

Privacy of SMS Data

Your phone number and SMS consent data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Once a pour date is confirmed:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pour date generally will not incur a fee.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pour may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover crew mobilization, material orders placed with ready-mix suppliers, and lost scheduling capacity.
• We reserve the right to reschedule a pour due to weather conditions (heavy rain, freezing temperatures, high wind), equipment issues, safety concerns, or ready-mix supplier delays. We will communicate any changes as early as possible.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement, invoice, or verbal agreement before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment is due upon completion of the work.
• We accept checks, cash, and electronic payments. Specific accepted methods may vary by project.
• Past-due invoices may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
• We reserve the right to require a deposit for new clients, custom decorative work, or larger commercial projects.

Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver quality work on time, the client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate project information at the time of the estimate (approximate dimensions, purpose of the slab, access limitations, and any known site issues).
• Ensuring safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the jobsite on the scheduled pour date.
• Obtaining any required permits, HOA approvals, or easements before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Marking or disclosing the location of any known underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic fields, or buried structures.
• Removing personal property, landscaping, vehicles, and other obstacles from the work area in advance.
• Ensuring that ground conditions are reasonably suitable for concrete work and equipment access.

Workmanship and No Warranty

James Reed Concrete takes pride in the quality of our workmanship on every project. Concrete is, by its nature, subject to natural forces including but not limited to thermal expansion, settlement, soil movement, moisture, and environmental wear. Minor hairline cracks, surface discoloration, efflorescence, and variations in finish are common characteristics of concrete and are not considered defects.

Except as expressly stated in a signed written agreement, James Reed Concrete makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the durability, longevity, appearance, or performance of any concrete work. Nothing on this website, in any advertisement, or in any estimate should be interpreted as a warranty or guarantee of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

James Reed Concrete provides residential concrete services within the scope agreed with the client. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing site conditions, unstable soils, drainage issues, or buried debris discovered during excavation.
• Damage to undisclosed or improperly marked underground utilities, irrigation lines, or septic systems.
• Structural engineering, soil engineering, or the adequacy of any design provided by the client or a third party.
• Delays or issues caused by third parties, including ready-mix concrete suppliers, inspectors, utility companies, or other trades on site.
• Cosmetic variations, minor surface cracking, efflorescence, or natural color variation in concrete.
• Damage caused by client use of the surface before recommended cure times have elapsed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to services performed shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

Insurance

James Reed Concrete maintains appropriate business insurance for the type of work we perform. Certificates of insurance are available upon request for active projects.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, brand marks, and design, is the property of James Reed Concrete or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any portion of this website without prior written permission.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on our website.
• Attempt to interfere with, disable, or compromise the website's operation or security.
